David has experience in a wide variety of corporate issues involving entity selection, organization, formation, conversion and dissolution, corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, employment, intellectual property, and asset and equity purchases.

David represents clients in healthcare, real estate, accounting, manufacturing, distributing, and construction industries. He works closely with clients of all sizes, from individuals to large corporations, and with clients’ business and legal personnel to understand and structure their objectives accordingly.

Prior to joining Underwood Perkins, David served as an underwriting associate for a Fortune 1,000 company where he analyzed financial statements, assisted with loan approvals and due diligence, and conducted risk and price evaluations. David’s real-world finance and banking experience gives him a unique perspective on his clients’ transactions when accomplishing their goals.

While in law school, David served as a child advocate working to protect the rights of minors in cases involving child custody, neglect or abuse, and juvenile court proceedings in the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
